EXCERPT FROM Burrillville's shocking "IN THE DARK" case from
FOOTSTEPS IN THE ATTIC. Fairmount fiend?
What seems to be a "cowled figure" appears at right in this photo taken on Fairmount Hill in Woonsocket, R.I. The camera was pointed at the sky, and the photographer was trying to get a shot of the constellation of Orion.
HERE IS THE SAME PICTURE WITH CONTRAST AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTED:
This area of Woonsocket is mentioned in the works of Charles Fort, and Fairmount Hill itself is believed to be the scene of the old New England story of the "Devil's Hole," where a clergyman is said to have done battle with the Devil in a story involving small, dark, hooded, human-like figures and even werewolves! Guess who lives on the side of the hill, only a few hundred yards from the "Devil's Hole" cave? Paul Eno and his family!
Paul says: "While our house and land have always been peaceful havens, with a great deal of 'protection,' the rest of the hill has always been pretty odd. Ben has lived here most of his life, and he and his friends have seen some pretty strange things in the woods here. Our house is one of the last before the town ends and the woods begin, reaching up to the hilltop. But the area isn't rural."
Paul says the "cowled figure's" presence is interesting, given his recent cases involving parasites harassing people who have left cults.
"Cowled figures feature prominently in several of these cases, two involving famous people. I've had the strong impression over the past few months that I'm not the most popular human when it comes to the 'parasite community!'"
HERE IS THE SAME PICTURE INVERTED:
North Smithfield nuisance
In this night shot, what seemed in this case to be nosy orb follows Ben Eno and "Psychic EMT" Sherri Lee Devereau (who was visiting Rhode Island from Arizona) in this 2006 shot from North Smithfield. The nearby barn and 18th century farmhouse, a former tavern, seemed plagued by curious presences, and lots of them, much to the annoyance of the current residents. Paul and his team found nothing negative (no parasites) but lots of apparent time slips. The old friend?
A classic "orb" appears in the upper left part of this photo, taken by Denis Brodeur of D. Brodeur & Sons Construction Co. in the attic of a vacant Woonsocket house his company was renovating. In an amazing irony, the last deceased resident of this house was an old friend of Paul Eno, and was the best man at Paul's wedding in 1981. Paul says he's not necessarily suggesting that this is some manifestation of his old friend, but does point out that the man spent his entire life in the house, had a difficult life and was otherwise of the sort who might manifest through various layers of space-time. In addition, Paul notes that the orb appears over a staircase that led to his friend's old photographic darkroom, where the man spent a great deal of time. "The possibilities are intriguing," comments Paul, who says he will visit the house soon. Below, the same house is seen from the outside, with the lower left window (left of the porch) displaying two odd lights. Paul notes that the sun was behind the photographer and that the lights could be reflective.
Below is a blow-up of the window.
The time-troubled house
If you look at the bottom of the refrigerator and open door in the background, you can see a bluish mist that extends from the door leftward across the kitchen floor in this house, where Paul Eno and Shane Sirois believe that the site's bizarre magnetic fields are contributing to time displacements. Members of the large family that lives in this Glocester home see a number of transparent and semi-transparent people and hear voices. So far, no negative phenomena have occurred, but the situation is being monitored. The lady in the attic
A bluish ball of light containing what appears to be the face of an old woman is caught on film in the attic of a house in Woonsocket, where a presence has manifested to family members in several ways. This "lady" graces the cover of FOOTSTEPS IN THE ATTIC. VISIT THE FOOTSTEPS IN THE ATTIC WEBSITE GOD GHOSTS AND HUMAN DESTINY" WEBSITE
